If you've never visited the museum, then you are missing out on a great piece of Hamlet's history. The museum takes us back and allows us to reminisce on the good ole days in Hamlet. On the bottom floor of the Hamlet Museum, there is a mock-up of Hamlet when the Seaboard Railroad was 'King". You can truly understand why Hamlet was once dubbed the 'Hub of the Seaboard'. A must see.

The Rockingham Speedway is always an amazing place to visit.  The Rock, as the racetrack is called, has brought NASCAR back to our local area.  Racing may or may not be taking place during our reunion, but the speedway, itself is just a nice place to say 'been there, done that'.

Hinson Lake has everything an outdoor enthusiast desires. The city has prepared almost three miles of walking trails looping around the lake just underneath a show canopy of trees with numerous wooden bridges including one that is 300 feet long with a nice gazebo in the middle. Picnic tables and benches are located all around the lake.
